Can I be honest with yall...I've had a 16 year+ addiction to Porn and I've tried everything from SAA to Counseling to blockers and nothing really stuck long term. I promise you when I say what worked and continues to work is when I earnestly ask Jesus to help me...He didn't just take it away but He gave me instruction to keep me set free without ever having the urge at all or desire to look at Porn. 71 year old male here, living in Switzerland. Have been eating low carbs since 1972 (Atkins - <50gr/day) and since around 2017 very low carbs (<25gr/day) . 188cm and currently (and for the last 5 years) 105kg. I was diagnosed in 1999 with idiopathic peripheral neuropathy. Twice again in 2013. I was also diagnosed with diabetes Type 2 in 2014 (provoked through Spiricort given to suppress symptoms of Polymyalgia Rheumatica) and had a heart attack in 2018. For neuropathic pain relief I was started on Gabapentin and Cymbalta. Because of horrid cognitive side effects, Cymbalta was switched out for Effexor. Unfortunately, these cognitive side effects didn't stop, so I stopped using them. I take the following for diabetes and cardio: Ezetimib/Rosuvstatin-Mepha 10 mg/10 mg - 1-0-0-0 (Di,Fr,So) Forxiga 5 mg - 1-0-0-1 Aspirin Cardio 100 mg - 1-0-0-0 (Metfin 1000 mg - ½-½-0-1 - stopped as of end of March 2024, see below) Since about 2015 I've been taking INSTEAD of the Cymbalta/Effexor & Gabapentin: R-Lipoic Acid 300 (240) mg - 1-0-1-1 Acetyl-L-Carnitine 750 mg - 0-1-0-1 N-Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) 1000 mg - 1-0-1-0 Omega 3 (fish oil) 1000 mg - 1-0-1-0 Magnesium 100 mg - 1-1-1-1 Almost immediately after starting Atorvastatin, even while still in the hospital, I start experiencing GI distress as well as increased neuropathic pains. This continued for the next 2 years even after I switched to Ezetimib/Rosuvstatin-Mepha 10mg/20mg. When I lowered the dosage of Ezetimib/Rosuvstatin-Mepha 10mg/20mg to 10mg/10mg three days a week, the GI distress continued but the increased neuropathic pain remained relatively constant. But I could "handle" it, more or less. I did, in conjunction with my GP stop Metformin completely the end of March and instead take inositol as well as dihydroberberine. My fasting blood sugar before lunch and dinner has settle down to 6.2 - 6.7. A large blood panel is scheduled for the end of June to check HbA1c, LDL, HDL and triglycerides. My doctor also offered to switch out the Ezetimib/Rosuvstatin-Meph for a PCSK9-Inhibitor such as Evolocumab. Since both inositol and dihydroberberine have been clinically shown to be as effective as both statins and metformin, I'm going to not need them anymore, since both can hinder the absorption of B vitamins into the cells, which can cause ... wait for it ... neuropathy.

THE ABNORMAL BEHAVIOR WAS THAT SHE WAS TALKING BY HERSELF AT BEDTIME AND SHE WOULD BEGIN CRYING SAYING THAT IT ISNT HER FAULT. WHAT IS CRAZY IS THAT SHE WENT TO THE HOPSPITAL ABOUT TWO MONTHS AGO BECAUSE OF TINY KIDNEY STONES THAT JUST BEGAN TAKING ITS TOLL. NOW SHE CAME BACK FROM THE HOSPITAL MAYBE TWO MONTHS LATER WUTH A CAST ON HER LEFT LEG FROM THE BOTTOM OF HER FOOT TO THE LOWER THIGH AREA. ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE DEEPLY APPRECIATED BOSS.

Ive been on nofap for probably over a month now. Best advice i can give : Trick yourself into losing track of days free of the problem. It makes it easier to forget that you're body wants to relapse. If their is a certain date like day 4 or 7, this will help get past that without relapse. Just a trick i found out. Hope it helps.
